I'm hooked. I'm like half way done (kinda) on my first sock. I have to say... I love knitting them! OMG!

Thats what I had last night, I've worked a few mor rows since then. So it might have grown a bit, not much. I love it so far, can't wait cast on the next one. After I finish this pair I have some Koigu yarn I wanna use for another pair. I used a little bit of it, so I might make another pair of ankle socks with it...

Last Living Souls

Been working on a few projects. I have finished the first Mary Jane slipper! Yay!(This is it pre-felted, and yes, it lokos a lot like Frankenstein's shoe)

I've already cast on for the next and have gotten only 4 rows of it completed. I was trying to work on some knitting while watching my cousins with my mom the other night... ya. Those kids make me want to run out and get fixed. Crazy! Anyways... I've started knitting my first pair of socks!!! I'm liking it so far, so we'll see. I'm almost ready to turn the heel, kinda excited. Only 22 more rows and I get to see the magic happen! I'm making ankle socks right now, only cause I'm to impatient to work more on the ankle, I wanna see how the heel goes, then I'll make a normal pair. I'll post a picture when I get a chance.

I've been kinda working on the Fan & Feather scarf. I wanted something thin and light grey, so ta-da, I came up with this combo. I'm liking how it looks right now. I have a few more projects around, I just can't keep up. Now my Mom wants a pair of felted Mary Janes too, ugh! I have way to much to do before X-Mas, It's coming way to fast.

Almost finished with my Ballband Dish Towel!

I decided to whip out my book, 500 Cupcakes. I'm getting ready for the Holiday's. They have some amazing recipes inside... Chai Cupcakes, Zucchini & Feta Cheese Muffins, Chocolate Mud Cupcakes, and my favorite, Baked Cheesecakes!!!

I didn't have much time to work more on my black and white dishcloth, errr... But, thats what Sunday is for! Knitting! Here's the yarn I got for the felted Maryjane's, Freedom Wool in a dark brown:

Here are the finished Ballband's. I didn't notice I used green in each of them, hmmm.

Fibericious

Sooo... I made a (few) trips to the Fiber Factory on Friday, and today. I think I have enough cotton yarns for a while...

I got my mom to go with me to the Fiber Factory today. It's funny, everytime I get her to go with me, all she ever talks about is wanting to learn to knit. I've tried 3 times now to show her, and all 3 attempts ended with needles being thrown. I guess it will soon be a 4th attempt tomorrow, we'll see. I was glad she drove up there, cause right when I got in the car I began casting on for yet another Ballband Dishcloth!

The colors remind me of a film strip, I dig it. This time, instead of just doing the dishcloth, I'm gonna make a dish towel. I'll just make it a bit longer. I have tons of knitting to do tomorrow, yay! Oh ya, I also finally got the yarn to make felted Maryjane's! Can't wait! I have such big feet, so I hope they will fit...

EDIT: Felted Candy Dish

Soo.... I finished the "Felted Paperclip Bowl", cept now it's a "Felted Candy Dish". It was a little wider than I thought it would be, and still kinda floppy, even after the felting. So I figure I could fill it with candies for my desk for everyone to take from. Ya. So. Now I'm working on my Log Cabin Throw... still... It's growing, slowly. Jason put on Full Metal Jacket, and I decided to knit. Nothing like knitting while watching a guy blow off his own head. Ya. Maybe I should get some sleep...

Felted Paperclips

I'm working on a knitted (then felted) cup/bowl for my work desk. Maybe I'll put paperclips in it? Maybe rubberbands? Maybe nothing, just air?! I love the colors so far. And before anyone asks, "where di you get that f*%#ing awesome yarn?!?!"... I spun it myself! Soooo.... if your interested in my handspun yarns, please drop a message or email me!!! ;)

And I couldn't leave this post without posting a new Cha Cha pic... or two. Awwwwwwww

Whoo hoo I got my books in today!

I'm really happ about the Debbie Bliss Home book. I've been dieing to knit up some of these patterns. I still need to start and finish a few more Ballband Dishcloths. I already have 3 done, not sure how many more I'm going to knit. They're so much fun to knit up, I need to start making a few for our new place (but I have a ton of time for that).

Jeazy Creazy!

I'm on my lunch break, ugh. I really need to get used to this new store. The manager, Kris, is super demanding. It's insane! She's constantly on your back, constantly paging people left and right. Let us work damnit! Ugh. I'll get used to it, just need more time. I hope this wasn't a mistake coming back here. I don't think it was, just a little different...

So all I keep thinking about is knitting. I'm dyeing to knit a scarf using this color scheme. I really dig the colors. Maybe friday I'll head over to Fiber Factory and see what they got. Ya... I'm thinking a 2x2 rib 2x2 stripe scarf...? Hmmmm

Science of Sleep

*****

I went and saw Science of Sleep last saturday night. Wow. It was such an amazing movie.
Can't wait for it to come on DVD (I know, I have a huge wait). I'm also still waiting for Little Miss Sunshine and A Scanner Darkly to go to film. Those were my other favorites for the year.

So today went very well. I definatly need to get used to the environment of this store. They're more strict than my old store. No stickers or picture on your lockers, badges, or on your desk! (Sorry Bob, your pictures' in my desk drawer) Crazy. Oh well, I do however like my new position. I find it fun to do computer typed work. Looking up orders, adding in new info, blah blah. Anyways... i like it.

Mmmmm fresh

I'm super tired. Not sure why?
I start work at my new (old) store. It's a confusing story. I'll explain later.
Yeah.

Ugh

.... blah blah blah
